Hey Jan, are those brain rocks pretty enough to cab, or are they specimen grade ? ROFL, Don, I think they are probably tumble-grade now since they've been rolling around in there so long.
Don, with all that rolling around in that hollow space, you'd think they'd have a pretty high polish on them by now! (Just kidding!)
Jan, glad things are moving forward with your eye problem. Hope it's both dissolved and resolved soon, lol.

Had to see our general practitioner for a pre-op clearance for anesthesia (EKG, blood work, chest x-ray, and vitals) and went to pre-op appt. on Tuesday. All clear and the biopsy is scheduled for Monday, June 8th, at 6:45am. I probably won't find out the diagnosis (and treatment) until post-op appt. on June 16th. Ready to get er done. The technician told us at pre-op that if Dr. Cannon knows what the mass is when he performs the biopsy, he may go ahead and remove it.

Will be great to be able to put this all behind you.
Good luck for, during and after the biopsy.

Thank You, snowmom! I'm hangin' in there and greatly appreciate your prayers. I feel okay, just have a headache and cannot see very well. I took off the bandage today. Had to place an icepack over the area for 20 minutes and 10 minutes off to keep the swelling down. Doing warm compresses and have to place Bacitracin antibiotic over stitches. We'll find out the diagnosis at post-op on the 16th. I talked to crazy8s today on the phone and told her I would post a pic. Will probably shut down the internet. I do not shave my brows like Pink in the Pink Floyd movie, The Wall, lol; they're just fair. ( )

you are ever so colorful today! I could say something about coming through it with flying colors... Bet you become a human rainbow in a day or 2... best wishes for rapid healing and staying comfortable and pain free. All that time to have the diagnosis hanging over your head. Grrr, you'd think they'd tell you as soon as they know. doesn't seem fair somehow. will check back here often. keep healing!

"zombie eye" ROFL, jakesrocks! Today it looks like the aftermath of a boxing match...and I lost. A bit swollen underneath the eye and waiting on it to look like a rainbow of colors as snowmom predicted. Still placing warm compresses on it and the antibiotic salve on the stitches 2x/day. Thank you, Don, Mrs. Pat, and @wampidy!! LOL, Jim! Please post pics of your beautiful welos on the forum.

Jan gingerkid, I sure hope your biopsy comes back clean!! Saying prayers and crossing fingers for a great outcome. Recuperate quickly (sounds fresher than "Get well soon, lol"). Kudos to you for posting the "zombie eye" photo, lol. My dad just had eyelid surgery yesterday. He was having vision problems, since his eyelids kept drooping on him. I knew he was having surgery for the eyelid, but he sent me an email saying he had THREE surgeries in one - "Brow lift, eyelid lift and had an eye muscle shorted" (shortened?). He attached a photo, it is gruesome! Puffy face, staples in his hairline, and large bruises under his eyes. My sister is applying antibiotic cream and icepacks hourly to keep the swelling down. (Email sent to me last night.) He added, I "have more than a dozen staples in the forehead and temples that will be removed next Tuesday" and that a nurse had told him the procedures would take 20 years off his appearance (an added bonus of enduring the surgery, but not the reason for it). While all this was done to improve his vision, I believe his insurance company considered it to be cosmetic surgery - a face lift, basically - and he will be footing the entire bill. We told him to get it done, whatever the cost. He is worth it! PS - Jan, I love the new avatar with AP!

Sorry to hear about all you have been through with your eye issue. I don't know you personally, but you are part of the rock family, so I almost feel like I should know you by sight! Get well, and as others have stated, our prayers are with you!
