Taking time out from everything for awhile! Our son Travis was in a serious ATV(razor)accident in ND and was found 7 hours later, pinned under the ATV!! His shoulder took most of the fall and roll over! They said the ATV was laying on his arm and shoulder for the complete duration, plus the people pulling on it to get him loose! He is in Trinity hospital in Minot,ND-Had emergency surgery as soon as he got there! Cutting his arm from the shoulder to the wrist to relieve the pressure of the swelling(that was going on with it).. Leaving the arm open, until he has a few more surgeries..One will be at 5 PM central time today, than another surgery Thursday! He say's he has feeling in the arm now,but is in a lot of pain, but he has his chin up high and is doing what he is told to do! Brave young man, tough as nails....... Glad someone found him and rescued him,no telling what the outcome would have been!!! (God's plan for sure)...Amen!

All the best for your son, wish him a speedy recovery. Gods plan, I'm sure. Nearly 40 years ago, I had a serious accident. That lead to lifelong (thus far) interests in natural medicine and general sciences. While it gave a hell of a scare to my parents, and pain to me, it was somehow the best thing that ever happened to me, in giving me solid interests and foundation, for my life thus far.

Travis just had his second surgery last night and it went great-He will be moved out of ICU today and get moved to a regular room... Now its the start of the healing time,if no more surgeries are happening... Doctor will let us know his condition on his morning rounds today....I want to thank Travis's - G/F (Libbi)-she has been with him from the beginning, not leaving his side..

Good news - sounds promising Mike. And, there's no better medicine than a good woman by your side in tough times!
Please remind Travis (when he's up to it) that chicks dig scars. Hopefully get a smile out of him with that.

Mike, sorry to hear about Travis's mishap. Sending prayers for him and the rest of the family!
And kudos to Lilli, I've been in that role several times myself. Her love and attention will heal him faster than anything!

Well the Doctors in North Dakota couldn't do anything,so he was airlifted to St. Paul Minn....To the Medical University,He has been in a lot of pain too, finally telling the nurses!!! He likes this hospital better... They will put him on the HBO Chamber-it provides oxygen to the nerves and etc to heal faster...Also will be doing transplant and reconstruction of the nerves-its a long haul to say the least!! I probably will be flying out there for awhile and being with my son.... They have a friend that worked for the airlines, can get me tickets for a good price......Starting to get things in motion.....
