Busy bee. I don't blame you after all that waiting. That one you got from rockincajun is my favorite, I think. Lots of cool cuts.

Chicken scratch...chicken track....I knew it had something to do with a chicken....lol.
I thought that Rio was unusual.....I love the colors in it.
That's probably about half of what I've cut. In addition to a few more slabs of the ones I posted that wouldn't fit in my hand for the pics, I've got a bunch more in the cat litter.

I didn't comment on this before, but wait for it ... I really like your wedding ring! Thanks. My husband's ring doesn't look anything like mine anymore. The design has completely worn away.

Holly molly, miss a few weeks and all heaven breaks loose in your neck of the woods. On the rock clamping I would suggest that your spacer wood not extend past the center of the vice. If your wood is the same width as the rock the vice can not pivot which will take away from the biting force on the rock. If you split a one inch piece off of the two by four and stand it vertical at the far side of the vice it will be sufficient for holding a rock of that size. Any triangle stone is difficult to clamp no matter what you do. If you practice on some stones that are more square you will have an easier time of it. hahaha yeah I know, the ones you want to cut first are not square or even close but sometimes you have to make sacrifices. Jim Thanks Jim for the advice about using a smaller block on the far side of the vise. Since I started doing that I have had a much easier time securing the rocks in it. Andrea
