i found this really cool deer antler in my yard, would make a great handle or letter opener.....does anyone know how to clean/cure it? do you bleach it? urethane it? or just plain wash it and go?
any suggestions would be appreciated.

whatever line i get in, it immediately slows down in proportion to the adjacent lines.
my grr moment is the in the "less than 7 items" aisle behind a person (and there are an astonishing number of them!) that apparently cannot count. and then write a check in the "cash only" fast lane.
i only use coupons for items i would normally purchase anyway. this cuts way down on the actual number of coupons i redeem.
another grr moment is when the cashier bounces my carefully selected fruit down the automated conveyor belt where it begins to tumble against the canned goods for a good few seconds ensuring a completely bruised apple/peach/etc. and they give you that "what are you going to do about it" look just to piss you off. i think they think they get extra points for that or something.
thank you, Condor, for letting me rant.

very nice batch, love the reassembled nodules, those are really great! some of that pet wood looks like it wants more time in the 60/90, but the shine is fantastic!
