Thanks Rob! I apologize for being so lazy that I asked rather than did my own search. You, my friend, are the kind of folks that make this site so great! Thanks again.

I'd love to see how the ultrasonic drill works. Is anyone aware of a site where I might see and learn more? Thanks!

Well done! How do they get the caramel to swirl like that? (giggle, giggle).

I just needed and wanted to add my "very nice job on the tumble batches AND the photography". What a great shine. You very definitely have the process down! Thanks for sharing with us.
Sorry about the dup. Sometimes the post doesn't show up right away and I think I missed the button. Obviously, I didn't!

The booth selling the Mad River agates was the people who own the Laguna agate mine in Mexico. Here is their website and where they will set up at the Tucson for Mad River and their own mined products. Great prices in Denver, expect the same in Tucson, gé there early and high grade!! www.lagunalace.com/shows.php
Am I missing something? Did I oversleep? I see them being in tucson for the show in 2014? Maybe they have the same exact place each year, and if that is so, then I can figure it all out. Otherwise I'll need some coaching as to how I managed to get all the way into 2017 without knowing it.

I am so glad to hear that you are OK. Also Donnie, thank you for checking in with your fellow rockers to let us know that you are well. I am sorry to hear about the home and yard damage, but that can be replaced or repaired. That is not true of you and your family!

Wood?

If you're wanting professional identification, then stop reading right here...I love pet-wood, and have seen lots of it and have lots in my collection, but I have never seen wood like this. Again, does that mean it is not wood? Nope. I just wanted to show you just how little I do know. Now I want to see what it really is. someone will tell us.

Thanks for sharing your other hobby...and the videos of your quad-flights. They are very cool, that's for sure. Sorry that the other folks didn't see the humor in your going rock hunting with your other hobby. It is a great hobby indeed, and one that I'm envious of, but with all MY hobbies, I'd have to find a 48 hour day and win the lottery...

I too had to wonder what "too shiny" means? There isn't such a thing...that's kinda like too much chocolate cake!

Love the dino bone. The color combo is truly outstanding, and the "polish" spots do not distract in my opinion.

The stone is nice, but the wrap is what really makes it stand out. What a nice job in joining the two!

That is truly an amazing stone for being your very first! I know little about the steps, but obviously, you are a great listener and a super follower! Thanks for sharing and now we all want to see lots more.

I like the orbs in #2, but I think #3 may have lots of them hidden in there. Yes the fractures are bothersome, but that nature for ya!
