Friend here in town tried a cement mixer to tumble poppy jasper. Turned into dust and gravel.

I've seen material exactly like the cab, listed as Stoney Creek. Does look much like the Ocean Jasper.

Like many "poppy jasper" boulders I find, the poppies are micro poppies and in this case are white. All white on this boulder are micropoppies. Collected last year after first rain.

Stony Creek? Did you find it yourself or otherwise come into it? Morgan Hill, collected today. I have a couple areas to collect PJ, one is blm land and one is private property. Stony Creek looks interesting!
