We have a new puppy, his name Jasper. I wondered how he was going to take the 4th. He did not even flinch he just sat and watched the fountains burn and the artillery shells booming up in the air,and a dozen or so m-80's. I thought for sure the m-80's would get him,and nothing. Even thunder he don't care. I think he is so chilled gotta love him.

Cool photo's of the owls, some years ago my wife and I where taking a late night ride in a place called phantom canyon about 10 min. Into it what I think was a great horned owl swooped From over the cab of my truck and flew steady right in front of us. With a wing span about as wide as my truck it was huge. Freaked my wife out so bad I had to turn around, not before I turned the lights out and yelled its coming for us.she was mad at me forever.

LAst time it took us 999,78543 to the 6970707077070 power to get back to Zork !! Looking at Frank with that 4 eyed stare that only an alien can do.. grin

Maybe it was just too hot and it is going on vacation. Greenland is nice this time of year. They say. Swiss Daily: āRecord Cold July In Greenlandāā¦Alarmists āStruggling To Explainā As Arctic Island Coolsprincipia-scientific.org/swiss-daily-record-cold-july-in-greenlandalarmists-struggling-to-explain-as-arctic-island-cools/We have all heard about the record-breaking ice mass balance and cold temperature reading of -33Ā°C recently set in Greenland ā the Arctic island that is supposedly the canary in the climate coal mine. It turns out that things up there are colder than we may be led to believe and that the alleged warming there is fiction. Struggling To Explain The Swiss online Baseler Zeitung (BAZ) here reports: āIn Greenland July this year has been the coldest ever. That has left climate catastrophists struggling to explain it.ā Citing the Danish Meteorological Institute, the BAZ comments that the -33Ā°C reading earlier this month was āthe coldest July temperature ever recorded in the northern hemisphereā, smashing the previous record of 30.7Ā°C. Expanding Ice Mass, Media Ignore The BAZ adds that also the āice cover has grown strongly over almost all of Greenlandā. But this has been ignored, as the Switzerland-based daily also bravely writes that āmost journalists and media leaders are active or passive members of the green-socialist Climate Church and the new religion of the post-Christian western worldā and acknowledge only things that fit their world narrative. This likely explains why thereās been no word about the record cold in Greenland. Why? The BAZ comments: It casts the central prophesy of a continuous and ultimately lethal global warming, for which we are ourselves to blame, into question.ā Greenland Has Been Cooling Recently NTZ reported here that Greenland, in fact, has been cooling over the past decade, as three recent studies alarmingly show us. According to one published in May of this year by a team of researchers led by Takuro Kobashi of the University of Bern, mean annual temperatures at the summit of Greenland have been showing āa slightly decreasing trend in accordance with northern North Atlantic-wide coolingā. See chart below. Greenlandās temperatures headed in the wrong direction, defying climate model projections. Underlying chart source: Kobashi et al., 2017. Warm Optimum Near An End? The team by Kobashi also show that the Greenland Summit temperatures have not risen in 90 years and that Greenland was far warmer earlier in the Holocene: Greenland temperatures were much warmer over past 10,000 years than they are today. One has to wonder if the current optimum may be nearing an end. History shows that the earthās surface temperature is in fact highly unstable and that most optimums donāt last much beyond 10,000 years. We need to ask ourselves what could be done to avert the catastrophe that a new ice age would bring with it. The overall trend does not bode well. Global cooling? Maybe shotgunner took a wack at it with them guns rockjunquie and fantastic5 are talking about? I'm confused now,? $#&@$!

Very nice story, this summer we where hiking at one of our camping spots and we decided to climb some random rocks when we got to the top there was a granite bench a memorial, with an inscription in memory of my beloved wife. With name and dates. My wife and I sat as the kids climbed down the rocks we both where silent alone in our own thoughts. And I could only think this was there spot and wondered for how many years they visited this place with a perfect view for two.

South Dakota, Custer state park is one of our favorite camping destinations. Their is the wood carving museum forget the name but it is unreal! And the needles highway is a sight to behold. Railroadbuttes is easy to get to.if you need a little hounding fix, also the wells drug store shop is neat. If your up to the drive you got to see Deadwood super neat western looking casino strips fun just to walk the strip. Find where the buffalo roam, we where stopped at a stop sign waiting on a big ol' bull walking right next to my wife's side with her window down he gave us a look like try me, I felt tiny compared to him even in my truck. I swear he was several inches taller the my F-150, one time when leaving South Dakota we seen a moutain lion cross a four lane highway with a rather large median in 4 strides, really scary looking made me glade i was going 70 mph in the opposite direction, oh yeah you can check out the rockabilly town south of Rapidcity, when you go to crazyhorse plan a late trip so you can stay for the lazer show at night. you my wish you had more time. Have fun and be safe. Planing on a trip up in August my split the time up between SD, and Wyoming.
