But you can't leave us hanging - what is in the "Misc Material" Drawer Tommy  Inquiring minds want to know  Patty Heehee thats the least interesting drawer in the cabinet. So uninteresting I dont even remember whats in it. I think it's random marble type stuff. |

I care nothing about seeing the misc drawer….. HOWEVER, that drawer marked Gary Green, I’d do more to get a peak in there then I would for a Klondike bar. I’ll give your wife, daughter, brother, and the paramedic first responders a call along with a notarized letter to be the one to claim that drawer, should something unfortunate happen. |

Hey Justin Justin , I would love to see your mushroom cab, why don't you post it over on the "Creating Cabochon" thread.
I've come to realize with the contest that the best way to approach it is as a challenge to yourself.
If the next guy(or gal) outdoes ya, so be it, but it's a challenge just the same. So don't let the other entries shy you away - it keeps it interesting with different entries, IMHO.
Patty..... watching for the mushroom cab thread.
I will post it! I actually pulled it out yesterday and was asking my wife which if the two bases I had made for it would look best as the mushroom stem, so now I can have all of the forum members give their insights as well. I’ll also post what was going to be my entry for the picture jasper contest. I didn’t post that one because I forgot to take a picture of the rough before I got it cabbed. Alrighty, it's been a few months but finally had time to complete and entry. This is a piece of South Dakota prairie agate which I thought looked like some of the trees turning colors around here.    I opened up the page, zoomed to the bottom of the page, then started scrolling upward. I saw the slab picture first and KNEW that was a SD Prairie Agate! LOL Gorgeous piece Alex! (And not just because I'm biased! LOL) |
