Very nice! Your skills are evolving nicely! Just keep on with that cheap wire and you'll be surprised at how quickly you'll improve. Keep on posting pics. I must admit that I was lured in to see what exactly you were playing with here! kj

Darn, you caught me!!! I absolutely did look because of the title LOL. I saw "Playing with my" and I added "SELF". LOL Ok, its not what I thought it was but I have to say, I love how you managed to keep the glass visible. That can actually be difficult when wrapping......trying to create a balance between the wire and the focal point, good job! And your bindings are nice and tight.....that alone can make or break a wrap. shan

How long has it been since your first one? Just curious. Honestly, I love it. The bindings are very clean as is the design, and I really like the swirly at the bottom. If you're still practicing, it doesn't look like you need practice....time to move on to the good stuff!

I really like it! Love the swirls at the top & the way you bring it all together. Isn't square wire the best??? So much easier to work with.
You did a great job & I can't believe how fast you're progressing. Won't be any time at all & we'll be saying "Marcie? Oh yeah, I knew her when she was just a newbie."

With the cheap crappy craft wire I practiced for about a week, Yeah, we all saw the results of THAT!! Then had to wait 10 stinkin days till the wire came in to start playin with it and seeing what I could do. I love this stuff....SOOOOOOO much easier to bend around!! Cannot wait to get some actual cabs to work with! Had to modify to say this....Coming from you guys Randy, that is a true compliment, cuz you all are the BOMB when it comes to wrappin'!! Thanx!

I love it, especially the front. The arcs coming from the bail are wonderfully smooth & uniform. The only thing I can see that needs work is the bail. Kind of bulky. Wish we could get together & I'd show you the way I was taught. Makes a nice neat pkg. Maybe I'll see if I can get my husband to take pics as I do it & post them on here. (I had a really good teacher.) Jo

OK, Marie, I think it's time! Get some silver wire and some real cabochons and go after it! You are already way ahead of me in the wrapping department - I love your artistic designs. There's more art in your little finger than I have in total! Jo, yes, please do give us a little tutorial on your bails - I think a lot of us (especially me!) have a lot of trouble in that area (not to mention the other areas). I know I would certainly study that if you do it. Thanks, Tom

I too would love a tut on the bails! Seems to be the most difficult for me...getting them lined up with the bottom and all. I ordered some cheap little cabs, 25x18's, and they came in today as well, so will post some pics of those tomorrow...providing I can stop sneezing, caughing, and sniveling long enough...I swear I have the worst cold ever!! Uggh!! But I'm still playin with my wire!!!! LOL Marie

Darlin, you have a good eye for composition and are handling the wire well. Bindings look great! Jo

Ok, now stop playing around with the craft wire. lol You obviously got your wings and are soaring.
These are beautiful. From the bindings to the swoops and swirls and your own flare of creativity. WTG!
