Hi!!!! My name is Stacy and everyone is lucky because I have no idea what I'm doing when it come to my rocks. So, needless to say I'm not dangerous, klutzy prehaps, dangerous no. I like to have fun, even if I sacrifice myself for the laugh. Like I say "I might be blonde, but I'm slow". Life is way to short to be grumpy (be there done that, no winners). I like rocks, all kinds polished, unpolished, jaspers, agates, quartz, and even just plan ole' rocks that you find in your garden. Some people look at the ground when they walk to watch for money, I do it to look for cool looking rocks. I found this site when I was looking for raw "Fordite". I saw all the information that was available and thought "this place might teach me a thing or 5". I have some of the stuff I need to start polishing and cutting little things (i think). I'm on a limited budget, so I make what I have work for what I need. I'm good like that, or that may be what gets me into trouble.... either way it's all good. I hope I didn't put you all to sleep, if I did nite, nite StacyCP

Welcome! I am new to the whole rock business as well. But I have found this forum to be the greatest place to learn. Loads of people willing to share their knowledge and advice. Have fun, ask questions, and most importantly post pictures! Everyone loves pictures!

WOW, you sound like the kind of woman I am looking for. Will you marry me? I have one requirement though, you have to be between 21 and 70 or I won't show up.
All adulting aside, welcome from North Central Wyoming, the land of nothing but rocks. I even have them in my head. Jim

Welcome aboard , love your intro.
I watch the ground for rocks too. Can't tell you how many times I've been asked if I'm looking for gold. Ha!

Welcome from Tennessee! Be careful this is a dangerous hobby, before you know it your entire life will rotate around rocks: money, vacations and all. It always embarrases my husband when I am on my hands and knees in a friends gravel driveway...for the life of me I don't know why

Hi ya & welcome from Key Largo, Florida! Yeah, it's kinda hard to stop at just one or two or even five! My piles is evidence of that & I'm in a part of Florida where all those awesome rocks are not. However, that sure didn't stop me!!
