broseph82 Maybe you shouldn't take up stone carving if you plan to sell any of them. JMHO Great snow weenie though. Born and raised in the south right? Nope. Born in NJ, raised in OK. Come at me bro I think someone at quartzite was selling quartz dildos. Saw it on IG Come at me bro? Jim

Nice plugs. I have been trying to figure out the best way to make them. My son is a body mod artist and he wants me to make them for him..

Do you know that if you put a hole through the center you can put a screw thru it, spin it in a drill press right at the top of water then groove it with a rotary while it is spinning? Or you can go bigger with the hole and polish the inside of it.
The people did not seem to mind a 3/32 hole in the middle. Jim

After reading back through all the comments I am compelled to add in.
My son is a body modification artist. I don't pretend to understand it, but; that is what HE wanted to do.
My wife and I are both "white collar" professionals, 50ish, college educated. My son could have gone to just about any university he wanted to. He was a top 3% student, doesn't drink, smoke, or do any drugs. College isn't what he wanted to do.
He is 6'3 and freaking handsome. The Ford Agency had been trying to sign him for 2 years. That isn't what he wanted to do either.
So. He does piercing, branding, scarification, and suspension. He enjoys what he does and he is good at it. He can tell you where and when specific type of modification originated and what it meant culturally.
He talks just as many people out of extreme modifications as he actually performs on them, even though that takes money out of his pockets.
He is tattooed, pierced, scarred, and stretched. Again, we don't understand it but your damn right we are proud of him. I don't have the balls to be that much of an individual in our narrow minded, ultra conservative, society of conformist lemmings.

Roger Is your son in Montana? My son is a tattoo artist and a friend of ours was just described by you. Just read back and I think the height is off but I have not seen him for a long time and don't remember how tall. (age) If it is your son he did a piercing for me and several for my wife. Jim

@roger
I am college educated (BA), have a wife, and three kids. I have tattoos from my foot to my knee on one leg and from my finger to my bicep on my arm. I started stretching last year for the love of rocks. I started seeing how beautiful rocks and stones can be shaped and displayed everyday other than rings and necklaces.
Putting a hole in the middle makes it a tunnel and not a plug anymore. If you ever want some plugs rounded and then you finish them for him let me know and we can work something out.

The stone is the granite/feldspar with the blue quartz from the quarry in Georgia. Thanks. I couldn't imagine these being in my own ears. Now that's too much. Funny on your son. It's called stretching up not gaged/gaging (sorry piercer/plug maker pet peeve ha ha).
