Correction: Not Mookaite, but Owyhee. Thanks guys. They are both hard to spell ! We agreed he was not going to send so many. Well, he was asked not to. Thanks again Dale. Holding these is like a thin card sample library of rock varieties. Cool little jewels. mookaite (I think), radio frequency quartz and pet wood mookaites Montana, pet wood and mookaite

The six jaspers are from the Owyhee area of Oregon. roy or Tony could probably provide the specific mine name

Not Mookaite. Original Owyhee Jasper. Bottom picture middle is Belvade/Belvidere Jasper from Burns Oregon which is no longer mined. Don't have thank me. Thats what friends do for friends.

How thin are these? Any chance of a side profile pic?

Anywhere from 1mm to 3mm. That's some nice work you have on your website.

Thanks for correcting. Owyhee I was unsure of. Desirable material, can't find a single pit and a shame the mines closed. One group is .9mm according to vernier, maybe a bit less gerard. You do have incredible jewelry. I cherish these as I have a liking for thin agates. GOT to hold them to the light to see the make up. Got to adjust the saw and do some super thin slabs for the tumbler.

Have you tried using one in playing? I don't play fireforged. I believe Dale has a long list of musical clients though.

One of my favorite songs is "The Stone" by Dave Matthews Band. I would love to bring a couple with me to a show and give one to Dave and stefan first chance I get.

He would be tickled to hear Dave Matthews is strumming w/one of his pics.

May end up being one of the more famous rocks on the forum BigSky. Your young and apparently a concert goer. Get Dale to make picks with your Montana's. 'Official Dave Matthew's pic'. Have 20 made from a big Montana and say these pics are cut from the same rock as his pic. Or same river, etc.
Any celebrity musician for that matter.
They do have to be made out of perfectly solid rock so they will not abrade the strings.

the whole idea just works. A killer montana made into guitar pics, "the stone" etched onto the pic would make alot of dmb fans super happy. Plus the fact I'll be giving DJM and Stefan Lessard each one... Super frickn cool. The dmb fans go crazy over anything dmb related. To be safe from any infridgment issues, stay clear of using their name, logo etc. I see no reason why "the stone" would be an issue. The pics are made from stone right? There's potential here, being a fan myself, I know how dedicated the fan base is and selling some at a show would be damn near effortless lol if it's dmb linked in anyway...they want it.
