The art teacher that cleaned out her closet and dumped her stuff in the creek is still laughing. But, it's still cool.

It is hard enough to cut the hell out of you if you are not careful.

I just tested it. It easily scratches a SS sink.

Cut a cheek off. I'll bet you have Picasso looking stuff inside.

Cut a cheek off. I'll bet you have Picasso looking stuff inside. Huh? Cut a cheek off. I'm betting that inside you will have patterns similar to Picasso marble or Pacific Picasso agate. Colors on the other hand, who knows? But it!

No way. Way too cool. When you go to Burro, I will give you rough coordinates and you can see for yourself. There is more of it. It also is too light to have a solid core.

From a buddy that spends a fair amount of time in BC.
Not Picasso! I got a pile of this shit that looks like this on the outside and bacon agate on inside. Inside will vary from red and browns to crappy looking beige on inside. Typical BC stuff.

Oh great. An expert refers to the stuff as shit. I guess I will definitely leave it be and let it be something cool looking that no one around here has seen before.

Take a deep breath. Relax. I said he spends a lot of time in BC. Never claimed he was an expert. But apparently he has cut this stuff and inside the pieces he has cut, wasnt much to talk about. You put in a lot of effort for your rocks. Enjoy them.

Mark, I see this exact thing very frequently in Yellowstone Nat'l Park around the hydrothermal features. I think it is waterborne calcium and silicate that has come out of solution in this bizarre pattern.
