I wouldn't say OCD. No rituals, compulsive or repitetive behaviors. Maybe fastidious, diligent, or just plain anal. Can't stand clutter and disorganization. Little things bother me and keep me busy, never sit still. Time left on the microwave timer. TV/light left on in other room. That piece of dog kibble over there on the floor, etc. I sit down only to pop right back up. And I never sleep, maybe a few hours here and there. Instead, I like mindless work to sort of run in idle. Like tumbling rocks, cleaning out barrels and such.
Boy, can I relate to those symptoms, Randy, lol. Time left on the microwave, shutting off appliances that do not need to be left on, things put back on the shelf in the wrong location (especially when I get chastised for doing same thing in the garage, sheesh!). Not in the wrong cabinet, maybe six inches out of position. I find I am always shutting kitchen drawers left open 1/2 inch, cabinet doors, sliding glass door left ajar... Vertical blinds left crossed up, shower curtain draped over tub threshold. No dog anymore, so no kibble on the floor. Well, if there is, it has been there for over a year and escaped my notice, ha! I am not - have never been - a type A person, but I cannot sit down and be comfortable, always jumping up to do something. Never sit still. Spend as much time awake as I do asleep at night...
So, which is the cause, and which is the effect? Does liking rocks make us this way, or do we like rocks because of it? LOL.
Guess we are what we are.

Regardless what my wife says, I knew there were other crazies like me out there. I figured I'm not special enough to be that unique.
Yes, everything you mentioned above would bother me to the point I'd wonder HOW can anyone else live like this??? Are they slobs, lazy, inconsiderate of my affliction? It's a curse to be upset by the minutiae of life, but not all that troubled about big picture topics, like politics.

Haha, too funny, Rob!
I wasn't going to mention straightening pictures on the wall. That one doesn't bother me so much. Maybe because the ones on my wall are already straight? But I do notice when things are out of level. I could probably overlook someone else's pant hems not being even.
I don't line up my alphabet soup, but I do keep my folding money arranged in my wallet all facing the same way and in order of denominations.
Maybe the most OCD thing I do is count things. Not out loud, just in my head, lol. About the only show on TV I watch on a regular basis is Big Bang Theory. I get a kick out of Sheldon, but scary when I see myself in him. Stray hairs on the bar of soap in the shower, yuk! Is there an acceptable number?
I know there are more things, but I think you probably get the picture...

Funny video. Can we somehow make it impossible for toilet paper to hang over the back? Or illegal?

Funny video. Can we somehow make it impossible for toilet paper to hang over the back? Or illegal? OK, if you can get freeking women to leave the seat up. If they left the seat up, we would all be happy.
