Why are the puppies out in the cold? Wife had the door open for a minute bringing groceries in and cold air blew in Pat. They spread out when hot and pile up when cold. They grunt when chilled. Make no noise when warm. 76F = cold, 82F = hot. They have floor heat and an infrared heater and are indoors. Healthy to cycle them with a short touch of cold though, they should not stay incubated the whole time. At 5 weeks they will go outside to a heated 'condo' where they can go outside and come in to heat at will. Surprising how they stay out in the cold at will at 5-8 weeks old.

They are well taken care of. You are a good pup pop!

After being a 'pup pop' over 20 times I should have a handle Pat. They have a vocabulary of a dozen sounds. Each telling to their comfort level.

So cute, My wife always had ridgebacks when she lived at home. So we have decided to get one in the middle of 2017. Have identified a good breeder and been working frantically to make the yard and house dog proof and get things organised so wecan make sure that we have a dog with at least one of us 24/7 as we don't want to leave it alone while we work.

Great dogs, you won't go wrong. Some bloodlines can be a bit stand-offish. Research personality before buying. Good luck Scotty.

Builds lungs. Taste of real world. Being born out in the wild toughens them up. Cush setup here. They will go to their heated dog house in a week. They have a pet door, ingress egress to a small outside area. They will spend the day in 20F air by their own choice. Amazing how cold tolerant they are.

When she gets within 20 feet of the pups they start screaming. They smell her. So, it is my job to cover their excrements with paper. I don't feed them and they have no need for me. Now when it comes to getting out of the box and wrestling they are all over me. I am always their wrestling partner. My smell is directly related to play. But they won't play until after they have eaten though. After wife feeds she is useless, james in demand. Time to tap me out.

5 year old we birthed and sold to an agility gal. A pet quality dog due to too much white on her front foot.(a no-no) But a body by Ferrari. Perfect hips/joints etc. Judges forced to accept white feet due to perfect physical specimens. Another story.

Piled up. The ones on bottom are groaning from the weight. Others growling. They think they are tough now. Starting to shred each other w/sharp teeth. Rampant pit fights.

Thinkin' you need a second dog bed! Ha, there is a larger white dog bed next to the one they are piled on. Freshly washed and ready daily. Every day they get on that brown bed. It happens for many litters now. A puppy enigma. A discussion had for several litters. We decided it is the texture of the fabric. The first one gets on it, the others follow. They are doing a quarter day outside starting today. maybe half a day tomorrow.
