Roy, the thing has a CD player under the seat. I'm already looking for 50's - 60's CD's to play while I'm driving it. Especially the instrumentals. Duane Eddy, The Ventures etc. Real driving music.

WOO HOO, the bidding has started on a shipper. In just a few days the car will be on its way to me.
Found & ordered some good 50's/60's tunes to stuff in the CD player while I'm cruising.

WOO HOO !!! My new toy should leave California on Saturday, and be here sometime next week. Can't wait to take her for a drive. Gonna be 1955 thru 1959 all over again.

Sure glad my new toy isn't arriving today. The whole state is under a tornado warning. Time to batten down the hatches.

Don, do you have a concrete bunker to house your new baby in up there? Inclement weather is inevitable at some time in the future...
Hope the tornado goes somewhere else, and you stay safe.

So far the worst weather is N.E. of me, and moving away.
No concrete bunker for the new toy. I'll move my pickup out of the garage, and the new toy will go in. Anyway, it's still safely sitting in So. Cal.

WOO HOO. Just waiting on a phone call. My new toy should be on an enclosed trailer today, and with any luck it'll be here Sunday.

Mike, I've been online, buying a whole bunch of early tunes. Got more coming in a couple days. Gonna blast the streets with Duane Eddie's Rebel Rouser.
Just got off the phone with the guy who will be hauling the car up here. It won't get here until Wednesday or Thursday. Gives me time to get the new license plates and insurance.

That is one cool car! Enjoy! Waiting for it to get here is worse than cabin fever. I've been keeping myself occupied by assembling all sorts of detailing supplies. Got a local car show in August. I want it spotless by then.

Deferred gratification. You just appreciate something all the more if you have to wait for it. Hold on, you've been waiting since high school!

Well, not exactly. I've had a 29 Ford roadster pickup since then. Also a 21 Dodge Brothers touring car, and a 23 Studebaker touring car with a big engine. But Model A's have always been my first love.

LOL. Nope. No flame thrower (spark plug) in the exhaust pipe. Guess I could uncap the cutout and build a fire along side the right running board.
It should be half way here. Driver that's hauling it is supposed to call me tomorrow with an update on delivery. All of the paperwork should arrive by certified mail today, so I can get downtown and register it and get a new pink slip. Still need to contact my insurance company and get it insured.

awesome car!!! I always wanted to fix up and modify an old Ford, but never had the time or money:-(
The front fenders on those old Fords and Chevys had multiple uses, didn't they? ;-) Reminds me of a story related to me many years ago by an old bodyshop man that worked on those cars back in the day. That still brings a grin to my ugly mug:-)
