Just checking in here to let everyone know that I'm digging new material every week, and coming home with some fantastic rocks! Thanks go out to everyone who has gotten a box from me, and I'm ready to send more!
Also, I'm grading out in three sizes these days. Tumbling rough, Trimsaw Rough, and larger material. I can mix and match too!
Happy Sunshine! Joshua

Those are cool! I like bumpy rocks too, and I'm forever bringing home Variolites from our local river. This one isn't the greatest example, but it shows the "bumps" well enough....

Do you live around those parts? I'll be passing through in April and would love to chase down some Lahontanite. I grew up near there, and have never found any of that...

Thanks! I have only found two pieces showing the white micro poppies, but now that I'm looking for it, I'm seeing the signs in other patterns. It sure is fun to find! I think I posted this one in a different thread here already, but it's worth showing again. I'm getting kooky over this!

Man that Rhyolite is bright! That wouldn't be related to the Lahontanite or Springtime Jasper location would it? Looks pretty similar in coloring...

Could be a tile from the lost city of Atlantis... I remember reading somewhere that the Olympic Peninsula has fallen and risen from the sea three or four times in geologic history. This material sure looks like it's moved around a lot!

Man that's bright! Nicely done. I'm looking forward to the day when I get the tools to try my hand at cabbing... Thanks for showing!

I don't know the names of any of them, but agree about the fire agates. Those blue agates are killer too. I'd be back out there with a shovel quick as could be. Nice blue!

Nice collection! If I make it past Garnet Hill in Ely, NV next month on my collecting trip, I'll send you a specimen from there. My dad won (and later lost) a claim on that spot in a poker game back in the 60's...

My local recycled building material store takes toilets and grinds them up for road fill. I think they charge $2.00 for a 5 gallon pail of toilet chunks. Something to check if you are using this tip for many batches...

I've finished slabbing this beast. Most of the rock is going under my bed into the savings account, but I'm going to post a couple up on Ebay. Thought you guys would like to see one of the choice slabs. I've never cut any poppy jasper without any fractures, except this one!

I know it's a girl because she's beautiful AND powerful, what should I call her... Like many, I prefer my girls dirty, so let's see her in action! You must be itching to flip that switch already!
