See the blood running down her back in the dorsal shot? That is where I hooked her.
Another reason it kicked my butt so bad is that a couple days before I had been collecting on top of my mountain and I dropped my hammer about 30 feet from the top. I didn't realize it until I got back to the truck. So I ran up the mountain PO. I strained about every muscle in my body.

Montana requires you to buy a tag for them. You have to put it on the fish as soon as you beach it.
You cast a treble hook out into the fast water with a 4-6 oz sinker under it about a foot. You then cast it out and jerk it in and take up the line and jerk again. This could go on for hours.
In my case I casted out, jerked twice and on the third jerk there was no weight so I thought I lost my sinkers. I started reeling the line in and it damned near took me water skiing. It took a lot of line as I had no idea where to set the drag and I set it too light. I tightened it while I was fighting the fish. I managed to get it close enough to shore that someone was able to gaff it. The rest is history. I ate way too much of it yesterday and had the trots today. I liked the fish, but not the raw back door.

One more thing I did not mention. It was also banded.

In Montana I had one of those harvester ants go up my pants and got in my drawers. It stung me on the pecker a lot of times before I got my britches down and killed it. It was not a good time. That would have been Monday.

I am back from my trip. Lots of snow in the higher elevations and blocked out because of it. I did go to TX Springs and found a couple pounds at small pink but when I went to Rich's hill it blizzarded and the ground was covered. Neat place now that I found a perfect road leading to it after taking the "scenic" route in.

OK, here is the poop.
I just got back from seeing the cardiologist. He says that the first test said I was at 21%. The tests 4 days later say that I am in the high normal range which is 50 - 70%.
I was 65-70%.
He does not understand how this was possible. There was no appreciable difference between the days.

I know him. The reason he will not sell any more is because everyone has tried to screw him over and over and he is sick of it. He is a really nice guy.

Get it fixed up,so you can get going with the things you want to get done in life!! Good luck! I still keep on doing the stuff I want to do. I have been like this for a while and I have gone to some wonderful places and have done some wonderful things. This is not going to stop me. It is not even going to slow me down.

I got to watch my heart pump on the TV today. They are sending the tests to Abbott so I will find out what they found out on Tuesday.

Stress test on the way for sure. Probably roto rooter at a minimum. Hang in there and they will rebuild you just like the six million dollar man! The stress test is how they found the problem.

It is a miracle I am still alive. I know that fear is supposed to keep us from doing stuff that can get you hurt, but when it never develops, you can have some crazy adventures.

Dang man, and you were offering to come by here and help me out ? Don't need you collapsing over here. Doubt if I could pick you up. I'd have to tie a rope around your ankles and drag you with my lawn tractor. Seriously though, get that ticker checked out, and take care of yourself. Lots of rocks out there that need collecting. Don The offer still stands. All of the way up to when I pull out of the driveway. I have had this for a few years apparently and I didn't die yet. Even when I climbed that mountain in ID 3 times in a day.

I am not the least bit scared. Last week I was in the ER with a possible heart attack. It wasn't, but even then I was not the least bit scared. I never developed fear. I don't know what it feels like.
