Dammit Jim. About The Rock Shed...I like the Carnelian and Desert in the tumbling section and the Prarie and Blue/Green in the larger rocks section. When I order parts and such, I try to equal out the box with rough...along with a free Bahia. 5 years ago I was drinking more beer as my hobby of choice. Now I drink about as much beer but get more shiznit done. Gather no moss, Colin

If not for RTH I would have just followed the booklet that came with my 3A, thanks for all expert advise. Theses are Brianhead Agate that we collected, not the entire batch. My total time was a little over 9 weeks, Patience, Win, Patience! Now I'm going to expand my equipment, at least one more tumbler and probably a vibe. And the addiction begins. Welcome. Can I send you a box of local rocks? Gather no moss, Colin

Rocktumbler.com had some awesome Botswanas. Other than this board, that was the best deal I ever bought. Anyone know if they still have Bots?
Because I'm a tumbler, born under punches.

I am heading to Denver from 11 to 16 of sept and see some shows advertised,  any information as to which ones are best to go to ? also anyone in the area that may be attending any of the shows, would also enjoy meeting anyone in the area for a coffee and talk rocks.  Thanks.  Any information is very much appreciated What what? When, where, why, how, is this Denver show thing?

Awesome. I hope to learn how to hand polish some of these softer stones to a shine. Is it something that can be done in the later stages with little mess while watching something like a baseball game? Jugglerguy hooked me up with some of these awesomestones, gracias amigo, and I'd like to make a few look like yours. Because I'm a tumbler - born under punches. Colin

Nice Rube Goldberg tumbler manofglass . ETA (TBH IDK what ETA stands for, but it seems to be used in situations like these...): The above post by me had no comment, and I tried to delete. Is there a secret squirrel code to put in to delete? Whisky Tango Foxtrot? But I'm a tumbler. Born under punches. Colin take a look at these hands, you don't have to mention it All I want is to breathe.

What's your plan? I live 50 miles south of Cheyenne and hope to get the day off which will be difficult...
I was thinking Torrington or Scottsbluff. Glendo, Casper, Douglass, area I was thinking would be crowded.

Awesome thread, and I have nothing to add but trying to give jamespanol, tireless scientific juggernaut, 3 thumbs up.
But I'm a tumbler. Born under punches. Colin

I have a Lortone QT12 and a high speed Thumler's B. I prefer the B...more efficient.
But, "I'm just a tumbler. Born under punches"
