Congratulations jasoninsd ! Beautiful Montana agate cabochon and well deserving of winning the 'budget' contest. My issue with Montana and something that I suspect might have a little do with its cost was always that it's so bloody hard and so bloody clear it takes a LOT of time and patience to achieve a flawless piece. When I was prowling shows looking for slabs I encountered a lot of Montana and just looking at it made my wrists hurt When an artist like yourself finds the right inclusion pattern however it's well worth the effort and you did a wonderful job on this stone. Well shoot...this just turned an "ok" day into a half-way decent one! Thank you so much for the encouraging words. I'm still not sure I can say my name and the word "artist" in the same sentence while maintaining a straight face! I still feel like I'm pokin' and hopin' half the time! Jasoninsd-where do you keep finding the winners? Congratulation! Thanks Victor! This was from a slab that's been sitting on my dining room work table for about two-years now! LOL Thank you my friend! Wow! Congratulations jasoninsd That's a solid win! Thanks Rob!! Thanks Chris!

Beautiful job and another well deserved win. Face it, you're an artist, whether you like it or not. Someone earlier mentioned voting for a certain cab because of the incredible flawless girdle line. I could only assume it was yours. Nice grind!

There were a lot of really nice cabs and I could go on about several of them but the other one that really stood out for me was the Brazilian Agate by Rockoonz. Really nice all around.

That was Jason's?? Congrats!! Hard to believe, right!! LOL Thanks Alex! Beautiful job and another well deserved win. Face it, you're an artist, whether you like it or not. Someone earlier mentioned voting for a certain cab because of the incredible flawless girdle line. I could only assume it was yours. Nice grind! Thanks Gary! While I do take a lot of pride in my girdle (that still sounds SO wrong! LOL), I do believe that comment was directed at RRH's Polka Dot Agate. I just happened to have looked at the votes before that comment was made...and then again afterwards. I swear I wasn't pulling the thread up every two-minutes to look at the voting! LOL (I really did just happen to have seen it...) There were a lot of really nice cabs and I could go on about several of them but the other one that really stood out for me was the Brazilian Agate by Rockoonz . Really nice all around. I do have to agree with you on this Gary. When I saw Lee's (rockoonz) "Beer Stein Brazilian", I thought it was going to be a sweep on his part!
