I am so jealous of the experience everyone had. I would really try to make a fall trip. I need to see how my schedule and finances are holding.

Ha! John, your snoring would just mean 4 part harmony instead of 3. One night it started to rain and I had to move my bed under the overhang(I slept outdoors under the stars) and I made the mistake of getting too close to the sleeping quarters of the cabin. I counted at least 3 people in there snoring. I was waiting for the front door of the cabin to start swinging open and closed like in the cartoons! Around 3am I was startled awake by someone moving a chair under the overhang and it turned out it was Dan. Got so bad inside he came outside to try and get some sleep! Someone even said they heard some snoring coming from Jamie's tent, but I'm sure it must have been a raccoon(Rocky?)

Hey Robert, we need to talk! What is it that you would like rock wise? PM me with a list and I will pack you a box. UH, and I'm hoping we can keep the coffee thing just between you and me. Is that possible? Pretty please? I was having a blonde moment. Thanks Kim and Sheri for getting my tools. Hey sheri, when are you going to post pictures of that lovely you brought down off of needle peak?

If you are intrested in going to Needle Peak...you will need a 4 wheel drive vehicle. It was rough going back there. Lots of little washes to go through....

Rough going into Needle Peak is an understatement. I don't know how many creeks and ditches we drove over while Trey created a road! I think the consensus from the four of us that went is it really isn't worth the trip. The agate's nice down there, but there's plenty of nice agate over on East Ranch as well...and it sure is a lot closer! Mel, it was hard to not grab up that much nice agate. It was everywhere! You stepped out of the truck, looked down, and then started being picky about what kind you liked and what kind you were looking for. Kim - I think you took my backpack home with you, BTW. It's the same brand as y'alls, only grey and black.... Don't worry - I know there was no rock in it. *sigh*

I was adopted by Mailman's wife Dorothy, and I gladly accepted. I reminded her of her brother, and after she showed me a picture of him there was a resemblance. There was another adopted son and that was BlarneyStone, but somewhere along the line he got fired.

Gil, after you left your mother behind, I think Dan was re-adopted. Sorry to break the bad news...
(But you might still be the #1 son.)

I have lots of pics that I have not taken off yet (some will not be shown, You're welcome ;D) mine will come over the next couple of days and well months as I cut (I took out over a 150lbs), but right now I have just been enjoying the retellings (Is that a word? Rhonda?) I thought I would comment on two things as my eye lids droop over my chin. Hoobs, hobs, or what ever it was did spook me but no need to go into details HA, Tom you brought a truck load of wood and it was very much appreciated. Ok one more before I forget, Ed, was that early morning picture of the peak from your bed?

Alright, no fair Jamie, I'm still waiting for my rocks to get here. But they sure do look good. Fire up that Titan and cut some cabs. I've got a couple of showstoppers coming probably tomorrow. One will be a back-lit cab. I've been posting the cabs in the cab section. Should I be posting them here?

The lost burrito. No, wait. It's over here. Oh no, never mind. It's over here. That doggone burrito! Here's the story. After we had the blowout, somehow Desertdweller's burrito got lost. An hour and half later we stopped for a break, and could not find it for anything. Still later, when we stopped to view the Marfa Lights, that burrito was still no where to be found. Stoner, and I were almost sure that we saw the burrito moving up, down, and side to side along with those lights. (for those of you unfamiliar with the Marfa Lights, they are these strange phenomena that can be seen at night in the distance. No one knows what they are, but they are out there. They begin with a small dim light, then get brighter, then disappear, then start all over again, all the while moving around.) We finally arrived to camp burritoless. The next day, lo and behold, it was found. Somehow it managed to work its' way under the back seat. It did survive, but was never eaten. Stoner decided on a name for my SUV...Burrito. Condor
