An update...............all in all there was over 1000 lbs of Woodward Rock purchased. There was more like 1500 carried out!! I took almost 200 pics and will be putting all pics on a CD and all who attended will receive one. If you would like one as well...........send a blank CDR or CDRW and I will put them on for you. Stay tuned for the video "The Ballad of the Stupid Stoop". Gil (Condor) wrote the words and sang it to us all. Gil also plays the guitar. I will try to begin posting pics tonight or tomorrow. I cried when I left........the last one locking the door. It was an amazing trip! Jan has asked us all to come back the 1st week of April. They will be joining us the entire time, will provide us with a BBQ dinner the first night to kick things off and also will have T- Shirts made for all of us. I will be the first one to commit and am in the Cabin!! I have a year to save $$. Tom took large rocks and spelled R T H on the creek bank so everyone who stays in the cabin will see that we were there! Thank you Tom (Pho) and I took pics. Wow.............there is so much to tell! Guess this thread will go on for a long time as the stories grow. I will miss all of you! It was an amazing trip. I can not put into words the friendships I felt, the joy and happyness seeing you arrive with your haul, the fact that there was no awkwardness at all in meeting and most of all................the memories! Oh, the Gnome............the gnome went everywhere. It was the RTH Gnome. I have several pics of him all over the place. Even when he had to much beer!! roflmao! Ask Mr & Mrs Mailman about the Church of Rock. Ask Jamie how many guests where in her tent. Oh, and to all attendies............my butt feels much better! LOL Sheri

Great pics Kim. I think next year I'm going to bring a "Big Wheel" bike so I don't have to bend over so much. 1000lbs of rock? Holy Crap! No wonder they want us to come back! The Woodward's are really great people and I look forward to seeing them again.

Way to go Don, I bet he did a great job. Poor Pete, he watched me run around like a maniac trying to get everything together. I hope you (Pete) and Don & Dorothy can all make it here in the fall for the Arizona get-together. Susan, I know you can make it and Rhonda said she was up for it. Ed has already signed up and I think Mel and his friend will be able to come also. Now I just have to do a little research on a couple of areas to find out what other types of materials are available. Burro Creek is where I'd like to start and from there we could easily hunt for several types of agates and jaspers. The Hassayampa River is just outside of Wickenburg and everyone could camp there. Just across from the Hassayampa, less than 5 minutes are the mountains we prospect for chrysocolla in. We could dig for chrysocolla, shattuckite, Mirschaum, (sp?), and on the mountain closest to the river bottom is an outcrop of some stuff that looks a lot like porcelain jasper but thats just a few of the worthy lapidary materials that can be found in those mountains, there is a vein of green agate that we found by an old magnesite mine and lots of orange and cream colored outcrops of AZ rhyolite. Plus, all the stuff I had posted as new finds, (stoner made cabs from all of them) also came from those same mountains. Anyway, after I get everything figured out, where we can stay, what if any services are available, near by hunting spots, Dates and times, I will post a thread and ask Sands if he can stick it to the top, that won't happen for at least a month or so but I will get it up in plenty of time for everyone to make arrangements so they can come.
