Rock Box received.

Some here were interested in knowing what was in the box. So, here it is. A lot of photos. Very tough to justice of what was in the box with only a few photos. A lot of fairly rare and beautiful materials. Quite the variety.

Note that my Photoshop is no longer working after an update to Windows and MS Office. That is awful for me. Had to edit in Windows. No ability to resize or do much of anything.

Received one LFRB that was taped great. I am under lifting restrictions, so postal carrier brought it in my front hall. Limited lighting there. This is a great example of how to pack a box to ensure nothing is destroyed in shipment.

Opened the box. Contained a MFRB with many SMFB’s containing the slabs and slabettes. Many of these were marked with ID info. Note that the backing on slabs/slabettes is the side of a SMFR Box for size reference.

Some bags, mostly marked with contents of other materials on the sides. Some “mystery” items contained in the velvet bags. Some loose material in the bottom of box.

To me this box contains more than $50.00 of materials. What should I insure it for when sending to Cody? I might be way off on this, but want the experts here to let me know.

As of now, I have made initial selections on what to keep. Dunno if there is room for what I planned on adding, will see.

I think I posted photographs of everything contained in the box. This newbie to a traveling rock box is a little overwhelmed. Decisions, decisions.

Sorry, I only took a couple of pictures - one of what I took & one of some of what I put in.

What I took, clockwise from upper left - 3 Ohio Flint, Rocky Butte jasper, Sagenite?, Zayamara agate (same as Madagascar agate?), Turitella, One labeled as Coprolite, but I think it's Barite.

What I added: All Indian Blanket jasper

I also put in some slabs of Picasso marble, Tiffany Stone, Cedar City agate, & Holt Canyon agate.

Also rough of Cedar City agate, Holt Canyon agate, Grape agate, Pescadero beach tumbled agates, & Moqui Marbles.

There may be more, but I seem to be losing my marbles, so I'm not sure.
