brybry. I don’t understand the photo. I know you are now working at a lumber mill. Please explain. Thanks.

It's a grading table. The lumber passes along so we can look at it and mark each piece before it goes to the trim saw.
Slap a bunch of lumber on there and that's what I look at for 10 hrs a day. I get paid to write on boards with a crayon, lol.

I returned home from my trip on Friday. Banff and Jasper were absolutely beautiful. This is the favorite picture I took from the whole trip. The sun illuminating the mountains upon sunrise at Lake Louise. On more cloudy days, it takes on a purple hue. The reflection in the lake... 👌

Grader test today. Get results Tuesday when I go through the packs with the SPIB Inspector. So far the inspector has me at 94% accuracy. I asked if that was good and he laughed. He said in 8 years of inspections, he has never found a brand new grader at that percentage. I find out Tuesday if it holds the same, better or worse.

I stand corrected, I'm grading all day it seems. Found some of my marks in piles going to the stacker.

It's such a great photo!

A little project I recently finished. It was old & rusty, but rather than throw it away I decided to bring it back to life. It was a fun project. Those turned out beautiful!!!! Are they for the yard? Not sure what they are, but I sure like them. Love the colors.

Caught a 65 pound flathead catfish yesterday morning here in Santee SC. Was fishing from the bank with a couple heavy duty fishing rods. This is the largest I've been able to land on rod and reel since the 52 pound blue catfish I caught in 1989.

My new pebble pup. Meet Tom Tom. I had plans on getting a Belgian Malinois, but this guy kinda randomly fell into my lap. Now I have two german shepherds. I was literally talking to Tommy like a day prior asking about his Belgian Malinois getting ready to make the plunge. But I guess life had another shepherd in mind for me. Wouldn't trade him for the world.

He’s darling!! Why are his ears back? They aren’t haha. That’s just how some shepherds ears get when they are pups. He’s only 9 weeks. My other shepherd had droopy ears as a pup, then they grew large and stuck out like satellite dishes 😂. Rest assured, they haven’t been tampered with. Eventually they will form to look normal, I hope… haha.

Stray feral kitty who shared our porch for a season and then wandered off to parts unknown. He was named "Underfoot" because he always was. Being a very "verbal" cat, this is a pretty typical picture of him.
