Thats a really sweet piece of rosebud jasper in the 2nd prize package.

The color is correct for Stinking Water, It is not Oak, could be elm or hickory or any number of hardwoods that grew there. All that said about the certain thing is that it is Petrified Wood.

I would just use a hammer and a nail and file off the back side, real quick to punch the hole and a lot safer. you could punch from the top and leave the protusions on the inside of cap. don't know what you are doing it them.
