Judging from you Photo. You entire machine needs a Good Cleaning. a lot of Caked on oil and Grease . Therefore the motor is just as dirty. My advise Clean the motor . take it off the frame. Submerge completely in Mineral spirits Overnight. next day remove it and let air Dry for several hours. Then plug in DO NOT PLUG IN When it's submerged Sal

Frankly there Junk. But there is away to help. Most if not all are just slapped together. I have one and they will run better if you do a Tune Up so to speak. 1. Align The fan and The belt with the drive Gear. this I believe is the major fault with them. there put together poorly 2. Check the play on the shafts, so there both in the same position. There Push Nuts on Them are bad. You can Change them with E clips. of the correct size This should help You can't overload them . there motors are not good.

I really do not think you can go wrong with the Lortone C series.. I have 2 lortone C100. they do make a 20 lb Drum for it i believe. Also Diamont pacific. does make one up to 65 Lb. the big ones do get heavy to lift . as you get older they seem to get heavier. I do have also an old Craftool That is about 25 lb. -40lb. when loaded it is a heavy one

I would suggest that you check the alinement of the belt between the large shaft pully and the small motor pulley. they will make Noise and have dust If not Sal

I have several Sears tumblers . The most popular is The 6 lb Box type. The one with the steel Drums were made By Star diamond, , , Craftool I think most of the 12 lb machine steel drum was made be Highland park or scott murray I also have 4 of the 6 lb with the rubber drum. these were made by star diamond. They were blue in Color with a Blue cove. The older ones which I have is a Belt Drivem. Belts you can still get .The later model which looks the same is Plastic Gear driven. These are Junk. Most If not all all parts can be gotten @ Small Hardware stores. or McMaster-Carr.

. the sleeve should not separate from the shaft. I would send it back to Lortone. if you purchased it new . there should be no problem. If It was purchased Used , Some one Screw Up. the machine can be repaired . Getting new parts will no be a problem

I have found a few drops of oil. on any motor will work well. . the biggest drawback with these small motors is When they intake air to cool they gather dust with it. weather the motors require oli or not The dust sticks to fans, coils and rotors. this will case your motor to run hotter than normal. any motor can get gunked up. to solve this problem. remove the motor and soak and submerge in mineral sprits overnight. then let air dry and oil. If you dunk it up and down , you will be shocked the amount of soot and dust is @ the bottom of the bucket. DO NOT PLUG IN WHILE SUBMERGED IN THE MINERAL SPIRITS . this will prolong the life of your motor. I have used this process with small motor and Up to 1/2 HP

I have been Using FF620 or FF620-02. They just push in On mine but the out side flange has to be thin enough to Catch the retaining Ring Groove. The length does not mean anything . i prefer a 5/8 length Or 3/4" some lortone Older model or new . The hole size Is a little different. You can sand them down to fit on a bench sander If necessary Sal
