This is on Craigslist locally, and I wouldn't mind having this kind of capability. I wanted to check with the members here and see what your thoughts would be. They are asking $225 for this. What are the things I need to check if I go and look at it? It is a Star Diamond C-6. I don't know what I don't know about this, but I don't see too many of these kinds of things come up for sale in my area. I mostly want a saw, but it would be awesome to have a grinder as well. I woulpd just keep one of the grinders and install an expandable drum for your sanding and then move along to the polish...Good price on that unit...

Looking really good. I like the candy dispenser full of small rocks. Thank You, its funny that I get more adults spending quarters than the kids because they want to tell theyre friends that they found agates on the beach....

He's got the old Biggs for sale $10 lb and slabs cut of the same material $5 each, along with lots of Oregon material, jaspers, thundereggs, agate, etc... There's your opportunity to make him a bulk offer and stock up your new store Yeah he said $6 grand for all, can't afford it right now. He has 24 inch saw for $1200, not sure of the brand.

Always on the lookout for jasper.....A good friend of mine in Montana, just made me a deal! Traded me some "Biggs" jasper.... He knows the owners of the claim and land, always getting some to take home...(Had it for years)... Well it took a few years of hagalin'..Now it's a done deal.... I pick it up in August, when we head to Roundup,MT for a Reunion...(Thank you "Montana Madman") I get half of this guy...I get to pick which half too...(Should come out to 40 pounds or so) That is a very nice piece indeed and its getting so much harder to get good quality like that without going broke. Congratulations...

Hi, have you found a retailer yet for fossils? I collect fossils on the Jacksonville, Florida beaches (mostly tutle shell fragments but lots of other stuff too.). Let me know if interested and I could send you a small box to check it out. I am not out to sell any and could not supply a huge operation but it would be a fun project to do with the kids and maybe if you like them get a few rocks in return . How many pieces would you need to start? I am definitely interested and have sent you a message, thank you so much...

The whole sellers are horrible to the schools on pricing from what I've gathered so far, i guess they figure that schools have the big budgets...Thank You for the support.

Your getting some good ideas but you have already learned a lot yourself. Get the kids interested and the adults will come with the money. i am learning alot and thank you, I just got the saw going today and people are loving the fact that they can choose a thunderegg and have it cut onsite.
