Thanks. I ended up selling one before my friend picked them up. Someone at work saw my pieces and bought one. 😊

Thanks everyone. I'm hoping to sell enough to get a new tumbler. I've read through the pricing guide, and am still at a bit of a loss because I don't know the value of my stones. I know what I have into them in time and materials, so I'm trying to price to have at least a 50% markup. Fingers crossed. Luckily (or not) I have a friend with a vendor booth set up out of town, so I don't have to sit and agonize over whether they are selling. Still a bit nervous though.

A friend of mine is setting up an art booth and asked for me to send some pieces with her. Little nervous and I hope they sell. Here are four of the pendants I'm sending.

CUTE! This looks pretty small. It looks like it was a challenge. It was some tight corners but worth it. The gal I made it for was over the moon. The biggest struggle was making things lie flat going up the sides. I'm glad you like it.

Strange on the error. Thank you for the kind words on my pieces. I'm really enjoying how they are coming together.

Those came out great. I'm saving for a vib and the TV5 looked interesting. I really want a Lot-o but I'm getting impatient. I'm very interested to hear your thoughts on the TV5 as you get more experience with it. I will let you know after another load or two. The only thing I know for sure is that you can't put anything to big in it. It jams things up and then you get wear marks in the other rocks.

I threw them back in the vibe for more polish. How long should I put them back for? I just reread your original message. I thought those had only gone through the 500 stage. Now I see that I misread. I usually do two days each in SC 220, AO 500, AO 1000, and AO polish. If you've already done that, they're probably done. A couple days more in polish probably won't hurt anything, but the granite might undercut more. I'm sorry that I didn't read that more carefully. I did the two days each but I'll go one more day and see what happens. I was hoping for a bit more on some of the stones. We will see tonight.

Nice tumble on a difficult breed of rocks . Which vibe did you go with ? A RayTech TV-5. Got it super cheap and figured by the time it breaks down I'll know if I want to invest in a lot-o.

Looking good so far. Now get them back in that vibe and finish them up! Is there a reason you did two stages in the rotary? The second stage can be done in a vibe in much less time. I threw them back in the vibe for more polish. How long should I put them back for?

I didn't own the vibe until I was through stage 2, then I switched them over when I got the vibe.

Thanks everyone! I wish I knew what kind of stone it is. All my stones come from my back yard, and I haven't gotten identification down yet.
