Hi, and welcome --- if you want to "pm" me your address I could send you a few -- couple different kinds --- as I have a bunch that I really don't use and that would give you something to try without buying any

sounds like you pretty well have it figured out -- on the stages --- the only thing I would say or add is that on the "co" polish -- the darker ( tan ) or more orange it is the courser it seems to be --lighter cream color is finer-- you can still use it but just have to run it longer to let it break down to get that super shine --- it's no different than any of the other grits --- the tan may be around 800 grit , the lighter cream may be 1000 or 1200 and the pure white may be 2000 grit --- if the rocks rub it enough it will break down into the finer particles ------ if you look up the diamond paste some use , you can get it all the way up to 100,000 --- and alot of people only take it to 5-7 or 14,000 for a super shine ( like on jade )

I haven't tried any of those but I doubt your satified with it in the end -- check out stoneage industries --- they have a 20% off sale going on now on the 303 's -- and they weren't showing list price to start with so you may find a decent deal there . -- you could also try "Eloxite" --- they were showing the next lowest prices

Liz, --- I had to say it!! ---- only if you hit them in the head when you drop them in !! ouch !! ;D ---- otherwise, if they are rinsed off with just plain water ( no soaps or excess polish , etc. on them ) then it shouldn't hurt anything ;D

well, looks like everyone has one ;D---- 65 hits and no inquiries ?? parfive --- like the fuller brush man ?? ;D " Hi, what do you need today ? rocks, -- agate or jasper , saw ? grinder ? I'll go right out to the truck and get it " ;D ;D Stefan --- is the real reason you want me to bring it is to shovel snow ?? ;D ------- or should I load a bunch of rocks to bring too? ;D Deb-193 --- I've got one mounted that could be shipped but would prob cost 25-45 to ship it ----- at that rate it'd be cheaper to just wait and buy it like you said -------- ( it weighs about 25# with the motor and board --- no flat rater then ) any other ideas ?--------- anyone ??

I was wondering how many people that don't have a saw would like to try one out for a week or so ------ I have a little 6" that would fit in a frb that could be a "borrow it saw" --- I don't know for sure yet that it will happen-- but thought I would ask to see how many would like something like this . ---- there are a couple things that you would have to have --- one would be a board to mount it on and another would be have a motor to run it ---- and be a little bit " handy" ( mount on board and make sure belt is tight plus)as it has to be taken apart to fit in the frb (only 3-4 screws)---- I'm not sure how the blade part would work yet --- if I send one then maybe a few $ to cover wear or if you ruin it then it gets replaced with the same brand --- something like that -- if you have any ideas how that could work let me know -------- and I'm not responsible for fingers or ruined rocks ;D ------- it's just a little "rock rascal" saw and it would be a "hand held cutting " experience but if you've been wanting to try cutting and can't afford a saw then you could maybe try this for a few $$ ( postage & blade wear)--------- what do you think ?? any ideas ?

erbo--- stop what you are doing this minute and send me all your money ---- then you will be able to go to the show and just look ! I'll send it back next monday ! ;D ;D ---- otherwise the only hint I'd give you is make one complete circle of all the tables then come back and make your "buys" ---- that way you can see if anyone has a better price on the same rocks !

Tweet-- when you placed your second bid -- did you put like a max bid of $5.75 on there -- but got the high bid for 2.25- if so that other bidder just kept bidding --what ebay said to do --- until he got the high bid at $6.00 --- usually when you bid and don't get the high bid then they say bid 25 -50- 1.00 higher ( they put the next higher bid next to the box) and if you only take it one step at a time you will keep getting "outbid" notices until you pass the last person's max bid -------- that's all I see here --- not trying to scam
